Cali Bamboo (San Diego, Calif.) CEO Jeff Goldberg was named the Most Admired CEO by the San Diego Business Journal.
The award recognizes leadership and vision within the CEO’s company and larger community. In 2016, Cali Bamboo reported $73 million in flooring sales, an 87 percent increase compared with $39 million in 2015, according to the company.
Goldberg won the award in the category for privately held companies with 101–199 employees. It is his fifth time as a finalist and second time winning the award.
"It's an honor and a privilege to receive this award, but it's the hard work and dedication by all of the team members at Cali Bamboo that gets the job done every day and makes all these amazing things really happen,” Goldberg said in a statement. “They're the ones who deserve all of the credit."
