PID Floors Launches Green Initiative to Make Company More Sustainable

PID Floor (New York) launched a Green Initiative to make its products and company more sustainable.

As part of the effort, PID Floors achieved Forest Stewardship Council certification and has two LEED Green Associates at its flagship Manhattan, N.Y., showroom. The company also created a green-focused American Institute of Architects continuing education credit course called Green Wood Floors.

More details about the company’s Green Initiative can be found online in PID’s Sustainability section.

“We were inspired to create a greener and more environmentally friendly company and product inventory,” said Managing Director Steven Skutelsky in a statement. “This new, but ever-evolving Green Initiative is our commitment to the ongoing health, protection, and well-being of both our clients and the environment.”
