Shaw Industries (Dalton, Ga.) has partnered with the American Red Cross to support the recovery efforts surrounding Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
Shaw has made an undisclosed corporate contribution to the Red Cross, invited associates and the community to support the Red Cross’ efforts by making monetary donations, extended sample/showroom replacement support and other special offers to retail customers, provided a dedicated customer service group to handle calls and expedite service, donated and transported bottled water, and enabled Shaw retailers to put Capture the Spirit points toward Red Cross donations and promised to match such donations. Shaw is also offering grants to assist Shaw associates who lost their homes.
The company will continue to evaluate needs and will take a similar long-term, strategic approach with Hurricane Irma, which made landfall in the U.S. on Sunday morning.
