Natural Accent Hardwood Floors (Fargo, N.D.) owner (and Wood Floor Business contributor) Jim Clarey recovered his work truck two days after he reported it was stolen—along with the thousands of dollars’ worth of equipment inside—sometime during the evening of Jan. 21.
A resident in Georgetown, Minn., located just over the North Dakota/Minnesota border, found it abandoned in the middle of the road with minimal damage. About $5,000 worth of tools were stolen, but Clarey said that’s about a fraction of what was in there.
Now Clarey is in the process of reporting the loss to the insurance and police. He said he will be installing a GPS system in the future.
