China Wood Flooring Sales Increased in 2017

Wood flooring sales in China increased 5 percent in 2017, according to a report published by the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO).

The results were released by the China National Forest Products Industry Association (CNFPIA) flooring committee, according to ITTO, with flooring sales totaling 4.4 billion square feet.

The volume of solid wood flooring sales alone rose 9 percent for a total of 505.9 million square feet last year, as wood “composite” flooring sales grew 10 percent to 1.2 billion square feet. Bamboo flooring sales dropped 1.2 percent to 355 million square feet.
