WFB Briefs: City Floor Plans NWFA Training, FCICA Scholarship, More

City Floor Supply (King of Prussia, Pa.) is joining forces with the National Wood Floor Association to provide intermediate sand and finish training to contractors in April. The three-day training workshop will be hosted at the distributor’s headquarters in King of Prussia (555 East Church Rd.) April 24–26 and will focus on how to sand different species, repair and recoat floors and finishing techniques. Those interested can register here.

 

The Flooring Contractors Association is accepting applications for its next quarterly Bruce Newbrough Memorial Scholarship for the Certified Installation Manager Program. The $1,225 scholarship for admission to the program is open through March 18, with the winner announced at the end of March. Those interested can apply here.

 

The annual Hardwood Federation Fly-In is scheduled for Sept. 11-13 in Washington, D.C. The event gives participants the chance to meet with elected officials on Capitol Hill.
