The International Wood Products Association (IWPA) is offering three new wood trade compliance courses, including Advanced Wood Trade Compliance Training, Audits for the Wood Trade Professional and Key Components of Wood and Forestry Regulatory Schemes.
The courses will be held June 27–28 in San Ramon, Calif., at the San Ramon Valley Conference Center.
Advanced Wood Trade Compliance Training, a full-day course on June 27, will cover sourcing strategies, risk assessment methods, validation of supplier compliance to requirements and provide updates on the latest regulations and environment actions. The cost is $195 for IWPA members ($95 for every additional registrant per company) and $695 for non-members ($595 for every additional registrant per company).
Audits for the Wood Trade Professional will be a half-day program on June 28 focusing on the key components of an audit, as well as post-audit steps for addressing non-conformities. The cost is $99 for IWPA members ($79 for every additional registrant) and $399 for non-members ($349 for every additional registrant).
Key Components of Wood and Forestry Regulatory Schemes will also be a half-day course held June 28 and cover the basics of forest regulatory structures, as well as techniques on engaging suppliers. The cost is cost is $99 for IWPA members ($79 for every additional registrant) and $399 for non-members ($349 for every additional registrant).
