Police Fine Driver for Hauling ‘Insecure’ Wood Planks in (and out of) Car

Sometimes, when you’re in a rush, common sense goes out the window.

That may have been the case with the driver of a compact car with multiple lengthy wood planks protruding out of its driver’s side windows. The car was pulled over and cited by the Peel Regional Police in Mississauga, Canada, for having an “insecure load.”

The police tweeted a photo of the car following the traffic stop, noting that the driver was issued a $160 fine for the load.
