Fishman Flooring Solutions (Baltimore, Md.) has opened a branch in Garden City, Ga.
The new facility will allow the company to better serve floor covering installers across coastal Georgia marketplace, including Savannah, according to the company. Customers have expressed the need for Fishman to expand to the area for some time, Fishman Executive VP Bill Mabeus said in a statement.
“We listened to those customers, assessed the marketplace and our growth opportunities there and determined that we could efficiently and effectively delight current and future customers with a branch near Savannah, rather than continuing to service the market from our Charleston, S.C., location,” Mabeus said.
The new branch will be led by Manager Sharlotte Halford, who is a 16-year veteran of the industry. The new facility will include a showroom and a warehouse large enough to store key items from the company’s product line, including flooring installation supplies, tools, adhesives and floor preparation products.
The new branch is Fishman’s third opened in less than two years, with its two other latest branches launching in Nashville, Tenn., and Knoxville, Tenn.
