The National Association of Realtors is predicting that existing home sales will stabilize in 2019 to a sales pace of 5.4 million, a 1 percent increase compared with 2018. The median for existing home prices in 2019 is forecast to jump 3.1 percent from 2018 to $266,800.
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) presented a 2018 Leadership Award to George Brandy, vice president of sustainability and commercial marketing for Mohawk Industries. “Brandy leads the sustainability efforts of the largest flooring manufacturer in the world by identifying opportunities to position environmental, economic and socially responsible solutions for both the organization and its customers,” USGBC said in a statement.
