WFB Briefs: Hull Forest Foreman Needed; 2018 Plywood Imports Drop; Haro’s App

U.S. imports of hardwood plywood declined 5% in December and fell 10% in 2018 compared with 2017, according to the International Tropical Timber Organization. China continued to be the main source of hardwood plywood imports during the year, though its numbers declined more than 70% compared with 2017. Imports from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia all had gains of more than 50%.

The free app, Haro Digital, features a QR code scanner to quickly access product information and videos and tutorials for products. It can also connect to virtual reality headsets. The app can be downloaded in the App Store and Google Play.
