WFB Briefs: Shaw Among Best Employers for Diversity; Rubio Demos Added; U.S. Joins Tree Initiative

Shaw Industries (Dalton, Ga.) was recognized by Forbes magazine as one of the “Best Employers for Diversity” in 2020. It is the second consecutive year the company has been recognized in the category.

 

Rubio Monocoat (Spicewood, Texas) added two product demonstration dates: March 5, noon–2 p.m. at Rustic Wood Floor Supply in Spokane Valley, Wash. (email Chet Ness), and April 1, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Galleher in Van Nuys, Calif. (email Richard Robledo).

 

President Trump announced the U.S. will join the One Trillion Tree Initiative launched this week at the World Economic Forum, The Hill reports. The initiative is designed to neutralize carbon dioxide emissions with 1.2 trillion additional trees planted around the world, according to the report.
