Rubio Monocoat was established in 1964 as a wood finish and coatings company. In 2005, Rubio Monocoat released Oil Plus 2C; the hardwax oil that revolutionized the wood finish industry. It was the first, and still is, the only finish to offer molecular bonding technology, one coat color and protection, while still being 0% VOC.
