Beasley Completes Purchase of Unilin North America’s Melbourne, Ark., Wood Flooring Plant

Beasley Flooring Products (Hazlehurst, Ga.) announced it has completed the purchase of Mohawk Industries’ Unilin North America hardwood flooring manufacturing facility in Melbourne, Ark.

As part of the transaction, Beasley will partner with Mohawk to provide flooring products to its customers. The company announced plans for acquisition in November.

It is the second major flooring manufacturing purchase by Beasley in the past 10 months. In April, Beasley purchased Shaw Industries’ hardwood flooring assets after Shaw chose to outsource its operations.

Beasley now has operations in Georgia, North Carolina and Arkansas.
