In honor of International Women’s Day March 8, ProKnee Corp. (Whitefield, Maine) is hosting the “Toughest Job Challenge” for women in the trades. The challenge asks female pros to share a photo or video of themselves using the company’s product on their “toughest job.” First prize is a choice between one set of ProKnee’s full-size custom fit 0714 kneepads or one set of its All Purpose AP16 kneepads. Second place will receive one set of ProKnee’s All Purpose AP16 kneepads.

The post must include the following information to qualify:
Square footage of job
Material used
How long it took
If it was a commercial or residential job
Floor prep involved
How long the pro has been using ProKnee.

The winners will be announced April 8.
In other company news, ProKnee also announced it has named Floormart LTD its exclusive distributor in the United Kingdom.
“The time has come to expand our sales on a greater global scale,” ProKnee stated in the announcement of the new partnership.
ProKnee ended its direct-to-consumer sales earlier this year in order to expand its growing supply chain.
“We hear regularly from customers asking where they can find our products in the U.K., and now we finally have a place we can confidently send these professional tradesmen and women to purchase locally in their country,” the company added.
Floormart also offers online orders in the U.K., which ProKnee saw as an important option. ProKnee’s former consumer-direct website will now be used as hub for information and updates about its products.
