Cambodia and Vietnam have both surpassed China as the leading sources of U.S. engineered wood flooring imports, according to an analysis by the Decorative Hardwoods Association.
Engineered wood flooring imports have grown 31% by volume and 33% by value in 2022 so far. Engineered wood flooring imports from Cambodia surged 26% year-to-date to 77.9 million square feet, and imports from Vietnam surged 49% year-to-date to 95.9 million square feet.
Engineered wood flooring imports from China, meanwhile, declined 6% year-to-date to 62.0 million square feet.
