Domotex 2024 concluded its latest edition Jan. 14 in Hannover, Germany, where it drew 18,000 visitors from 140 countries.
The four-day event also included approximately 1,000 exhibitors from more than 60 countries. The event’s 2023 show concluded with more than 730 exhibitors, 69% of which were from abroad.
"We are delighted that decision-makers from even more countries than before are coming to Hannover to learn about the latest trends and new products—including 170 debuts—and to make new business connections,” Global Director Sonia Wedell-Castellano said in a statement.
About 71% of visitors were international, with 65% coming from Europe, 18% from Asia, 9% from America, 4% from the Middle East, and the remainder from Africa and Australia.
The show was also the first of Domotex's annually rotating themes. Domotex - Home of Flooring, held this year, focused on the entire field of hard floor coverings, as well as carpets and rugs. Domotex’s next Hannover show, which will be geared toward carpets and rugs specifically, is scheduled for Jan. 16–19, 2025.
