Floor & Decor (Atlanta) reported net sales of $1,160.7 million in the first quarter of 2025, an increase of 5.8% from the first quarter of 2024. Net income during the quarter was $48.9 million, a decrease of 2.3% from the same quarter in 2024.
Comparable store sales during the quarter decreased 1.8%. The company opened four warehouse stores and closed one during the quarter, bringing it to a total of 254 warehouse stores and five design studios.
The company's diluted earnings per share were $0.45 during the quarter, down 2.2% from $0.46 in the first quarter of fiscal 2024.
“These first quarter results are a testament to our focus on what we can control,” CEO Tom Taylor said in a statement. “Despite the macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty, we believe we have a proactive, flexible plan that we are implementing and executing. We successfully managed an increase in tariffs in 2018 and 2019 by pursuing strategies to grow our market share and protect our profitability.”
