Floor & Decor (Atlanta) will open its first store in Raleigh, N.C., on Oct. 22. It will be at 3131 Capital Boulevard.
Single-family home permits reached 620,558 over the first eight months of the year, a 2.6% decline from the same time last year, according to the National Association of Home Builders. Permitting declined in the South (-2.0%), the West (-5.2%) and Northeast (-9.4%), while permitting increased in the Midwest (2.0%).
