Construction employment increased in 45 states and Washington D.C. between September 2017 and September 2018, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America.
Florida saw the largest gain in construction jobs during the year, adding 70,700 positions, a growth of 14.8 percent. It was followed by Texas, California and Arizona, which added 60,200, 32,900 and 16,000 construction jobs, respectively.
