Haines (Glen Burnie, Md.) announced the hiring of Jon England as chief sales officer.
England comes to the new position with 20 years of experience in the flooring industry and was previously Mohawk Industries’ vice president, national accounts.
At Haines he will be responsible for the sales force’s planning, procedures and policies and will also oversee the company’s brand marketing.
“I am delighted to have someone of Jon’s caliber,” CEO Michael Barrett said in a statement. “His focus on strategy as well as top line growth will allow us to achieve our goals and expectations as a company.”
