Dittmer has deep roots in the wood flooring industry, having grown up working for his father’s wood floor business, Hank’s Flooring, in Chicago. After graduating college, he served as an outside sales representative and later as general manager of The Bahr Company, a wood flooring distributor. In 2004, he purchased Hank’s Flooring and worked as a wood flooring contractor before joining American Sanders.
“Mark brings a versatile perspective to American Sanders with his experience as a wood floor installer, sand and finish craftsman, and a business owner,” American Sanders Senior VP of Operations Brian Strickland said in a statement. “He has a real-world understanding of the challenges facing both dealers and contractors and is well-prepared to offer practical solutions for his customers.”
