MAPEI Names Technical Services Manager

MAPEI Corporation (Deerfield Beach, Fla.) has named Leigh Hightower U.S. technical services manager of its Technical Services Department, according to a company release. Hightower will focus on MAPEI's floor covering installation systems, providing technical expertise and guiding staff who deal with customer concerns about installing wood, carpet, resilient, tile and stone. Hightower has more than 30 years of experience in the flooring industry, working both with manufacturers and as an installer; he has held positions in sales, technical service, sales management and business development. Most recently, Hightower served as director of business development with Texas Cement Products Inc.
