Bozovich Group (Lima, Peru) has obtained FSC Forest Management Certification for 180,000 acres in the Peruvian Amazon. As a result, Bozovich Timber Products Inc. (Evergreen, Ala.) now offers FSC-certified cumaru flooring for the residential and commercial markets. "Along with our FSC Chain of Custody Certification … our Forest Management Certification reaffirms our commitment to doing business in a socially, environmentally and economically sustainable way," said Bozovich Group CEO Drago Bozovich.
Bona US' (Aurora, Colo.) Bona Traffic HD waterborne finish has received the Greenguard Children and Schools Certification. The certification is given to low-emitting materials suitable for environments where children and adults spend long periods of time. Products with this certification adhere to limits outlined in California's Department of Public Health Services Standard Practice for Specification Section 01350.
