The National Wood Flooring Association has announced new dates for its 2012 Convention: It will be held April 10-13 in Orlando, Fla. The association had previously announced summer dates at the same location, but after receiving feedback from members, the show was rescheduled. "Our board of directors surveyed our exhibitors and past attendees after this year's event, and we learned that late spring is the perfect time to hold this meeting," said NWFA CEO Michael Martin.
The show will be located at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, where the NWFA Convention was held in 2002. Martin also noted that the Gaylord facility, with everyone under one roof for all events, is ideal for networking.
The show will feature an opening party on Tuesday night, trade show hours on Wednesday and Thursday, and educational and networking events throughout the schedule. The Convention Committee is in the process of relaunching the Expo portion of the show, with incentives for attending and participating, and plans are also underway to relaunch other elements of the show, offering top-rated keynote speakers, industry experts and entertainment.
