Canada's Ontario province launched a logo campaign Thursday so that consumers can easily identify Ontario-made wood products, including wood flooring. The logo is the first of its kind in Canada. The logo could also be applied to lumber and furniture and is intended to help retailers market locally made products. The local push comes because the province's wood industry helps support approximately 200,000 families, according to provincial authorities. For more information on the logo, contact Jason Koivisto with Ontario's Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry.
