Members of Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers Inc. and the Hardwood Manufacturers Association will tour plants in central Ohio on Oct. 12-13 as part of the groups' fall meeting.
On the tour list are Yoder Lumber Co. (Berlin), a third-generation family-owned business in the heart of the Appalachian hardwood region; HW Chair (Millersburg), a furniture manufacturer; Yoder Lumber Co. (Buckhorn), to see the facility's sawmills, drying facilities, predryer, lumber storage, and automated lumber sorting line; and Brenneman Lumber Co. (Mount Vernon), a family-owned and operate business.
