The NWFA held its first-ever open house event Nov. 9-10, attracting 250 people. More than 40 manufacturers and local distributors exhibited products, and more than $4,000 in prizes was given away.
Additionally, attendees enjoyed tours of the NWFA headquarters and a slate of technical demonstrations. The event drew local attendees as well as members from as far as Florida and Massachusetts.
"For a first time event, we couldn't be more pleased with the participation level," said NWFA CEO Michael Martin. "As we consider the future, we will gather exhibitor feedback for insight and look at the schedule of our other events to see if there's an existing training function it might make sense to combine with an open house event."
