Manufacturer Max Windsor Floors (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) has expanded its retailer-direct distribution network by adding warehouses in Kent, Wash.; and Grapevine, Texas. Another new warehouse will open in Orlando, Fla., by May 1.
The warehouse in Kent will service Washington, Oregon and Idaho, while the warehouse in Grapevine will service Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico. Also, the Grapevine facility is currently being developed to deliver products the next day or second day. The warehouse in Orlando will service Florida with next-day delivery.
"These facilities will improve not only the availability of our flooring to regional customers but will help to lessen their cost of freight," said Sales Manager Fernando Ornelas. "All expansion steps which we undertake are calculated to provide better service at lower costs to retailers who are motivated by total value."
Existing Max Windsor distribution points include Rancho Cucamonga and Adairsville, Ga.
