The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) will hold a vote for its board of directors on April 11 in conjunction with the 2012 Wood Flooring Expo, to be held in Orlando, Fla., April 10-13. The following have been submitted by the association's Nominating Committee to serve on the NWFA's board of directors beginning April 2012:
For an initial three-year term: Joe Rocco, Artistic Floors by Design (Parker, Colo.)
For an initial one-year term (ex-officio): Kevin Murphy, Trinity Hardwood Dist. Inc. (Austin, Texas) Julie Russell, Glitsa, a division of Rudd Company (Seattle, Wash.)
For an additional three-year term: Kim Holm, Mannington Wood Floors (Salem, N.J.) Tommy Maxwell, Maxwell Hardwood Flooring (Monticello, Ark.)
For an additional one-year term (ex-officio): Craig Dupra, Installers Warehouse (Rochester, N.Y.)
Nominations will be presented to the membership at the General Session on April 11 at 9 a.m. in the Osceola A Ballroom at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center. The board consists of four officers and 11 directors. Directors are voted into office by the NWFA membership to serve a three-year term. Ex-officios are appointed for one-year terms.
