Philly Floor Store Uses Vans to Promote Lead Generation Program

Distributor Philadelphia Floor Store (Conshohocken, Pa.) has launched a lead generation program for its contractor customers. Contractors enrolled in the program receive Internet- and phone-generated job leads from the distributor.

The leads are generated through the distributor's "Find a Contractor" link on its website www.phillyfloor.com. To promote the program, Philadelphia Floor Store has outfitted its delivery vans with large graphics that include its website URL and an 800 number for the program.

The company says that each of its delivery vans receives an average of 70,000 to 100,000 impressions per week, or about 280,000 to 400,000 impressions per month and 3,640,000 to 5,200,000 per year.

There is no cost to enroll in the company's referral program. "We are currently referring members of our loyal customer base who we feel confident can meet the needs of the customer," said Caran Baxter, who handles marketing for the company.

"Our delivery vans now double as mobile billboards," said company CEO Maurice Glavin. "Every pick-up, delivery, and even traffic jam serves as a marketing opportunity for us as well as our customers."
