UV technology manufacturer Miltec UV (Stevensville, Md.) recently announced that two of its employees have received special industry honors.
Kimberly Rosenberg, the company's production coordinator, has been selected an honoree by The Manufacturing Institute for the Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Production (STEP) Awards, which identifies women who have demonstrated science, technology, engineering and production excellence in manufacturing.
Kayla Abell, Miltec UV's quality control inspector, was recently named an ASQ-Certified Quality Improvement Associate (ASQ CQIA). ASQ provides certification as a way to provide formal recognition to professionals who have demonstrated an understanding of, and a commitment to, quality techniques and practices in their career.
