PID Floors (New York City) released its first children’s picture book, “Out of the City, Into the Forest: A Children’s Picture Book About Trees, Nature, and Protecting Our Planet.” The book invites readers to discover the beauty of forests and develop an appreciation for the trees that sustain our planet, the company said.

“Wood is at the heart of everything we do, and our work has always been connected to an appreciation for the natural environment,” said Steven Skutelsky, president of PID Floors, and father to three daughters. “With ‘Out of the City, Into the Forest’, we wanted to share that appreciation beyond the world of design and interiors. We hope the book inspires children to look more closely at the trees around them, ask questions about nature and understand that caring for our planet begins with curiosity and wonder.”

The book is available for $9.81 on Amazon.
