Lumber Liquidators (Toano, Va.) has launched a new blog to chronicle the company's philanthropic program, Lay It Forward. The blog will tell stories of organizations that Lumber Liquidators has supported with product or financial donations. The company will also accept donation requests through the blog.
"Every day, Lumber Liquidators' products and service help people improve their homes. Lay It Forward takes that to the next level by supporting organizations that improve communities. This program is a great source of pride for me and the entire Lumber Liquidators family," Tom Sullivan, founder and chairman, said in a statement.
In the last five years, Lumber Liquidators has donated more than 300,000 square feet of flooring to non-profit organizations, schools, arts facilities, community groups and more, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities, the company says.
