Crescent Hardwood Supply (Harahan, La.,) hosted a series of NWFA workshops in New Orleans March 11-14 taught by lead regional instructor Daniel Boone.
Instructors included Steve Lima from MAPEI Corp. (Deerfield, Fla.), Wood Flooring Advisors' (Arlington, Tenn.) Mickey Moore, Billy Simmons from Simmons Inspection Service (Bay Minette, Ala.), Bil Ptak from DuraSeal (Chagrin Fall, Ohio), Bostik Inc.'s (Wauwatosa, Wis.) John Jarnagin and Briggs Sanders, Kelsey Quigg from UFloor Systems Inc. (Aurora, Col.), Eric Landry from DriTac Flooring Products LLC (Clifton, N.J.), and John Troendle from Crescent Hardwood.
Nineteen attendees-12 from the United States and seven from Spain-learned about job-site preparation; moisture mitigation; and flooring problems, causes and cures, and CP installation testing was also held.
