NWFA to Hold Humidity, Sales CP Workshops at Surfaces

The National Wood Flooring Association will hold two one-day training sessions in January in Las Vegas during the TISE West/Surfaces convention, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center Jan. 20–23.

The NWFA Certified Professionals Sales Advisor certification workshop will take place Jan. 20. The "Environment Effects on Wood" workshop will take place Jan. 23, and offers Continuing Certification Units toward annual certification maintenance requirements.

The Sales Advisor training covers product knowledge, subfloors, installation methods, customer expectations, and preventing, recognizing and solving claims. To achieve NWFACP Sales Advisor certification, attendees must complete an online written test within 30 days of the workshop. Roy Reichow, NWFA Regional Instructor and owner of National Wood Floor Consultants Inc. (Cedar, Minn.) will teach the workshop.

The "Environmental Effects on Wood" workshop covers water/wood relationships, temperature and humidity, HVAC and humidification/dehumidification systems, and how environmental conditions affect wood flooring. Aprilaire (Madison, Wis.) staff Randy Lenz and Janis Rozenbergs will teach the workshop.
