
After the votes were counted on the last Paul Bunyan caption contest, the editors at HF saw something unlike anything witnessed in past contests.
David Whitehouse of Macbeath Hardwood (Edinburgh, Ind.), who won the perched lumberjack caption contest with “Simon says… put your hands on your hips,” did it again.
He is the first two-time winner in HF history, and he’s expecting big changes.
"I can see me doing the night show circuit, red carpet interviews, Nationwide commercials with Peyton Manning, throwing out the World Series first pitch, a recurring cameo on NCIS, my own scent (the bottle to be shaped like a board, of course) and I owe it all to you (and Paul Bunyan's gambling problem)," he wrote in an email to the HF editors.
