The organization behind the world’s largest online wood structure image database, InsideWood, is selling a 12-month calendar that’s perfect for wood wonks.
Each month of the calendar, “Plants With A Past. Inside Fossil Wood,” features high-resolution images of the internal structures of fossil and modern wood species.
There are black walnut images in July, elms in December and woods from the fossil forests of Yellowstone in March, for example.
All proceeds from the calendar sales go to maintaining InsideWood’s enormous image database.
The calendar retails for $15 and can be previewed and purchased on Lulu.com.
