The report writing class from the National Wood Flooring Association is saving its participants hours of wasted time and money, said A & M Enterprises’ Michael Longshore, who attended the one-day course on Nov. 11.
The course, led by Cathy Duncan of EZ Report Writing and Tim Moore of Moore & Neville Inc. Flooring Inspections (St. Charles, Mo.), was developed for flooring inspectors who want to hone their report writing and create an expert sample report that can be used for future reports.
Only a month since the course was taught, Longshore has already implemented new report writing tools that have saved the business money, he said.
“One of the best investments of my time and money,” Longshore said. “I encourage all of my fellow hardwood flooring inspectors to experience the new NWFA report writing class.”
In addition to Longshore, the students at the class were Ricky Bunker, Tech Flooring Services; Patrick Burke, Burke Floor Inspections and Consulting; John Chapman, Carpetman Inc.; Tamara Ewing and Andrew Linford, Above Board Wood Flooring; Herb Kelly, Floor Covering Inspections Etc.; Carl Mattingly, Mattingly & Sons Fine Hardwood Floors; Joshua Prewitt, Sika Corporation; and Robert Tucker, Peabody Floor Supply.
