Kyle Evans Appointed Mullican’s Johnson City Plant Manager

Mullican Flooring appointed Kyle Evans as the plant manager of its Johnson City, Tenn., manufacturing facility.

In the new role, Evans is responsible for managing and directing the plant operations inside the 309,000-square-foot site, including production, milling and finishing. He is also tasked with optimizing production and verifying product quality while ensuring the safety of nearly 300 employees.

Evans has been in the flooring industry for more than two decades, with significant experience in the area of research and development. He holds a bachelor's degree in wood products from North Carolina State University and a master's degree in business administration from East Tennessee State University. Evans also possesses the Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

“Kyle comes to Mullican with a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in the hardwood flooring industry," said Neil Poland, president of Mullican Flooring, in a statement. “His strong technical skills are matched by his enthusiasm for his work. We are pleased to have him serve in a leadership capacity at Mullican.”
