FCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association, in cooperation with Ardex Americas (Aliquippa, Pa.), awarded four floor covering installation managers with the first annual Bruce Newbrough Memorial CIM Scholarship.
The scholarship recipients are Rich Harter, St. Paul Linoleum and Carpet Co. (Eagan, Minn.); Robert Lucio, Walter Daniels Construction (Chicago); Stephen Ruggeri, Steve’s Carpets (Levittown, Pa.); and Ernie Nogales, Big Bob’s Flooring (Yuma, Ariz.).
Each recipient receives fully paid tuition in the CIM Program.
Bruce Newbrough passed away April 26, 2015. He was Ardex’s director of technical services and later director of applications development, and he was an enormous proponent of industry education, said the company in a statement.
