Mirage (Saint-Georges, Quebec) received Haines’ (Glen Burnie, Md.) first annual Supplier Reliability Award during The International Surface Event at a breakfast during Surfaces in Las Vegas on Jan. 21.
Haines began its Supplier Reliability Program to track and improve the reliability of its suppliers’ delivery and back-order promises.
During the breakfast, Bruce Zwicker, Haines’ president and CEO, presented the award to Mirage President Pierre Thabet. Zwicker said that partnering with Mirage was “one of the best things we ever did” and noted that despite the complexity in today’s wood flooring market, Mirage continues to offer unparalleled reliability.
“Our claims ratio with Mirage dollars-to-sales is far lower than anybody else,” he said.
