Wood Coating Market Predicted to Be $1.99 Billion in 2020

The global wood coating market is projected to be valued at $1.99 billion by 2020 due to growth in the protective coating market and increase in new construction, according to a report from Markets and Markets.

The report, “Wood Coating Market by Coating Type, Application Method, End User & by Region - Trends & Forecast to 2020,” available for purchase online for $4,650, also predicts stains and varnishes will be the fastest-growing market for wood coatings between 2015 and 2020.

The leading wood coating product and service providers, which include BASF SE (Germany) and The Sherwin-Williams Company (U.S.), are focusing on emerging countries estimated to show potential for industrial development in the near future, according to the report.
