Sika Corporation held the National Wood Flooring Association’s Concrete Preparation for Wood Flooring school at its headquarters in Lyndhurst, N.J., March 10–11.
Students at the school delved into all things concrete: moisture testing, grinding methods, self levelers, sealers, primers, wood flooring adhesive, glue down flooring installation and more.
“The training was amazing,” said Sebastien Godard, Sika’s VP of marketing and interior finishing. “It seemed everybody was really happy.”
The class was led by NWFA Regional Instructor Jon Namba (read a profile of him here) of Namba Services Inc. (Salt Lake City). Namba was helped by instructors Nick Loporto, Sika Corporation; Tom Zagula, Loba-Wakol LLC; and Gaeme Rosen, Werkmaster Grinders & Sanders.
