Lumber Liquidators (Toano, Va.) provided 1,400 square feet of hardwood flooring for a home in Sunbury, Ohio, being built for a retired U.S. Marine veteran who suffers from a traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder.
The home is being built for the veteran by Adaptive Homes, an Ohio-based organization that provides housing and home ownership to disabled veterans and their families.
"Lumber Liquidators' donation will help us provide a home for a truly deserving veteran," said Katie Filbrun, executive director of Adaptive Homes, in a statement. "The home we're building has really brought the community together and wouldn't be possible without the generosity of partners and people willing to give back."
