Watch: Drone Software Allows Remote Supervision of Projects

The supervisor at the construction site may soon turn into an unmanned flying drone thanks to a partnership between a construction management software company and a drone data company.

Project managers can use the software-enabled drones to remotely oversee project progress, document the evolution of job sites, supervise OSHA compliance and monitor equipment.

The system was developed for users of Procore construction management software to connect with drones operating a data delivery program from Botlink.

“Through Procore Connect and our partnership with Botlink, we are able to provide our customers with access to drone technology that offers real-time aerial imagery,” said Steve Zahm, president of Procore, in a statement.
