It’s considered interior design on demand.
SwatchPop!, called “Startup of the Year” by Emory University’s business school, allows consumers to collaborate with interior designers virtually to redecorate their living spaces.
Users send details and photos about the space they’d like redesigned to SwatchPop! and choose if they’d like a minor update, like a new rug, or major update, like a total room makeover.
SwatchPop! matches the client with an interior designer based on the client’s style and budget. In three business days, the client receives a clickable shopping list and renderings of what the new items would look like in the living space.
The site launched in 2014 and has more than 2,000 registered users with more than 550 completed projects.
