The North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors and the North American Building Material Distribution Association will host the 2016 Annual Convention Nov. 1–3 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago.
The convention is expected to bring in more than 700 distribution professionals from leading companies in the United States and Canada.
“The joint event for NAFCD and NBMDA has proven to be successfully based on the growth we see each year, and we are confident that 2016 will be no different,” said Kevin Gammonley, NAFCD and NBMDA executive director. “The Annual Convention continues to bring together top distributors and manufacturers to establish new relationships, enhance their business strategy and access industry education, information and trends.”
The event is a tabletop networking forum—exhibiting distributors and manufacturers receive semi-private tabletop booths, which the NAFCD describes as an ideal setting for senior executives and company decision makers to discuss future plans and strategies.
The three-day event will feature five education sessions and the 2016 Distribution Management University. New in 2016, the event will host panel discussions for industry authorities to share their best practices and experiences.
