The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors and Western International University together have developed an online leadership development course relevant to the whole distribution industry called Next Generation Leadership.
Next Generation Leadership consists of eight learning modules, including Difficult Conversations, Building Relationships, Performance Management and Career Management, among others. The program is designed for company leaders, front-line and mid-level managers, and high-potential aspiring leaders, according to NAW.
There are 16–20 hours of material in the complete course. The hours are spread out over eight weeks, so full-time employees should be able to move through the program at work without affecting their daily responsibilities, NAW said.
“We’re very excited to be offering company leaders this unique opportunity, and even more excited to see the results,” said Dirk Van Dongen, President of NAW, in a statement. “Together with Western International University, we have created a tailored program that will reap tremendous benefits as it hones the skills and competencies that today’s workers need to become tomorrow’s leaders.”
The program costs $750 per participant.
