Forest Products Society Schedules Intro to Wood Science Course

The Forest Products Society will hold its 2016 Introduction to Wood Science & Forest Products course Sept. 26–28 at Mississippi State University in Starkville, Miss.

The three-day course will teach the attendees about the basics of wood properties by explaining how trees are grown, harvested and processed. The course will also teach wood anatomy, green building and product testing.

Registration is required and can be completed online.
